I had an incredible first experience with acupuncture thanks to Dr. Kong at Best Burbank Acupuncture & Herb. After taking a bad fall down the stairs, I was dealing with intense back pain–easily an 8 out of 10–and desperate for relief. Dr. Kong was kind enough to squeeze me in for a same-day appointment, which I really appreciated.
I’d never tried acupuncture before and was honestly pretty nervous, but she immediately put me at ease. Her calm, professional demeanor made me feel comfortable, and the treatment itself was completely painless. I even dozed off a couple of times during the session–it was that relaxing.
The results blew me away. I walked out with the pain down to a 2, and when I woke up the next morning, it was completely gone. I’m genuinely amazed. I’m now seriously considering coming back to see what else Dr. Kong might be able to help with. Can’t recommend her enough.
